Individuals may purchase only one vehicle hangtag permit. UNL hangtags must be suspended, facing the front of the vehicle, from your rearview mirror or other device so as to be displayed in an equivalent manner. You may move the hangtag from one registered vehicle to another registered vehicle. The authorized permit holder or the registered owner of the vehicle is responsible for all infractions & penalties attributed to that vehicle or permit. A limited number of adhesive permits are available for those with soft-top or open vehicles and/or special circumstances. If you have a sticker instead of a hangtag, place the sticker on the lower right hand corner of your windshield (passenger's side). Stickers are available only for special vehicles.

Personal notes or signs

Personal notes or signs left in or on vehicles regarding any reason for parking on campus without a proper and valid University parking permit or for parking in an unauthorized manner will not be accepted. A temporary permit must be obtained. The vehicle is subject to violation and impoundment.
