parking meters for short term on campus parking

Visitors to the UNL campuses can take advantage of parking options to meet a variety of needs. These include limited single visits, multiple day commitments, types of parking areas, and special events, including UNL athletic events. In addition, students, faculty and staff can use short term options for visits to different campuses or for events away from their regular parking areas.

Additional short term options across campus include specially marked parking stalls for posted 15 or 20 minute access for vehicles with valid campus parking permits.

Charging stations for electric vehicles are available on campus

Parking and Transit Services provides access to electric vehicle charging stations on campus.
On City Campus, four charging stations are located on 14th Street in parking spots west of Howard L. Hawks Hall. On East Campus, two charging stations are available north of the Union.
The charging stations are powered by EV Connect. The EV Connect app lets drivers find electric vehicle charging stations based on location, station ID, availability, power level provided, and accessibility.
The EV Connect phone links are:
• Android - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.evconnect.ionic
• Apple - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ev-connect/id1197712470

EV Connect allows users to monitor charge sessions in real time, get phone notifications when the EV charge is complete, and make secure payments.
Campus stations are available 24 hours a day for use by the campus community and general public. Vehicles may remain parked in charging stations only during active charging sessions.
