The Parking & Transit Services Department offers a number of services to departments and groups affiliated with the University of Nebraska to accommodate their special event needs. To assist in the planning process for an event, please provided the following information to the Transit and Special Events Office.

• Please provide at least one week notice to Transit and Special Events Office to scheduling the event.
• A minimum of 48 hours advance notice must be given to post parking lots closed for special event

We'll Need the Following Information:

Contact Information

• Department name or Company

• E-mail address (E-mail is required for follow up conversation on all events)

Event Information

• Name of event
• Date and Time of event
• Location of event
• Number of participants

Parking Needs

• Number of vehicles
• Event Parking Arrangements
• Parking for individuals with disabilities, other ADA requirements
• Parking arrangements for elderly
• Requirements for VIP parking
• Parking attendant requirements
• Need for lot security during the event
• Need for event staff or Parking Enforcement
• Need for media and press parking
• Will there be any activities in the parking lot [displays, booths, etc]

Transportation Needs

• Locations
  • Pickup Locations
  • Drop-off Locations
  • Date & Times
• Para-transit service for individuals with disabilities
• Event Bus Needs
• Estimated number of individuals to be transported

Billing

• University of Nebraska Departments
• Billing information, if different from contact person

• Payment is required prior to event.
• We accept cash, check, or charge, (Visa or MasterCard Only).
• If payment has not been received prior to the event, a 10% fee will be added to the total bill.

Cancellation of event : Minimum of one day.
