We welcome you to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campuses and invite you to take full advantage of the services provided by Parking and Transit Services. Our goal is to provide a safe, efficient transportation environment for the UNL community.
The Parking and Transit Services team develops and manages vehicle registration, parking and enforcement for students, faculty, staff and guests at UNL. With the campus License Plate Recognition System, the vehicle license plate serves as the parking permit identification. We also coordinate cost and resource efficient connections for the Downtown, East and Innovation campuses with a network of buses that provide timely access throughout the day.
This diverse range of transportation options allows students, faculty and visitors to make economically and environmentally friendly commuting choices. Parking and Transit Services incorporates a full spectrum of sustainable initiatives into daily operations.

License Plate Reader Policy
Parking and Transit Services uses Automatic License Plate Reader (LPR) technology to manage campus parking facilities.
