Parking and Transit Services welcomes distinguished donors and visitors to our campus for athletic events. Athletic event parking information is outlined below for event-goers. Faculty, staff and students note the changes to your parking routine during game days. With the campus License Plate Recognition System, your vehicle license plate serves as your parking permit identification. The Permit Event Sticker must be displayed for campus parking during major campus events, including home football games. It verifies License Plate Recognition System participation. Reserve campus event parking in advance
Parking and Transit Services offers advance parking reservations for campus events.
This online reservation app is provided through ParkMobile and may be completed on a mobile device or a computer.
ParkMobile allows users to view, select, reserve, and pay for parking online. For additional details visit ParkMobile.
To reserve a parking spot in advance:
- Select the campus event you plan to attend.
- Review options and choose the available parking area you want to use.
- Follow the selection purchase process steps.
- PRINT THE RESERVATION WITH QR CODE and display on vehicle dashboard when arriving at the event.
Payment is directly to ParkMobile.
Alcohol Consumption
Nebraska State Statute (Chapter 53-186) prohibits the consumption of alcohol on state property. It is unlawful for any person to consume alcoholic liquor upon property owned or controlled by the state or any governmental subdivision thereof unless authorized by the governing bodies having jurisdiction over such property
Use of Open Flames
The State fire code prohibits the use of any open flames within buildings including the Stadium Drive, 14th & Avery, 17th & R, and 19th & Vine Streets Parking Garages
Recreational Vehicle (RV) Parking
Recreational Vehicle (RV) parking is prohibited on the UNL campus parking lots unless by membership of the Athletic Department Donor Club
Football Game Day
Football games are held at the Memorial Stadium. All University of Nebraska-Lincoln faculty, staff and student commuter parking areas including reserved, non-reserved, and garages are assigned to accommodate parking for Athletic Department donors and the general public for football game day. UNL parking permit holders are restricted from their normal assigned parking areas during game day activities. The Parking and Transit Services Department will close all commuter parking areas the day before a game at 10:00 pm.

Accessible Parking
Individuals requiring accessible parking on home football game day, with valid state accessible permit, have several options available to accommodate their specific needs.
- UNL provides accessible parking for $25.00. Six accessible public parking areas are located in various parking facilities east of Memorial Stadium.
- Golf cart transportation between Memorial Stadium and the 14th & Avery Garage is available from the bus lobby located on the southeast corner of the garage

Athletic Donor Parking
The Athletic Department operates the parking facilities located around the Memorial Stadium to accommodate donor parking. Donors will receive instructions accompanying their parking assignment.
All donor parking areas are available on game day only, beginning six hours prior to kickoff. UNL prohibits overnight parking in all donor and cashiered parking facilities.
Public Parking
Public game day parking is available in several UNL parking facilities located east of 14th Street, for $10.00, $20.00 and $25.00 with credit/debit. Public parking areas are available for use beginning six hours prior to kick off. Limited Football Game Day RV Parking is available: Game Day, $100; Game Weekend (Options for Friday night through Sunday morning, Friday night through Saturday night, or Saturday morning through Sunday morning), $200.00
UNL Parking Permit Holder Parking
With the campus License Plate Recognition System, your vehicle license plate serves as your parking permit identification. The Permit Event Sticker must be displayed for campus parking during major campus events, including home football games. It verifies License Plate Recognition System participation. Faculty, staff and student permit holders may park in the following parking lots: Area A at 16th and X Streets, Area A at 1700 Y Street, and Area A at 1901 Y Street. Emeriti and retirees must pay to park on campus on game day. Vehicles that display resident parking permits must park in regularly assigned areas on Game Day. Check the Football Game Day Parking Map.
Charter Bus Parking
Charter bus parking is located on the south side of W Street between 14th & 16th Streets, located near the Outdoor Adventures Center.
Parking for UNL Women's Volleyball recognizes designated patron categories, including donor/season ticket holders, general public parking and fans with accessible needs. Volleyball games are held at the Bob Devaney Sports Center
University parking is available for $8.00 with credit/debit at Lot 52 (ADA stalls), Rock surface lot (south of Transportation Services) off 17th Street between Y and Holdrege Streets, and Area C off 16th Street. To help you plan your volleyball game day parking, check the PDF map on the Maps page
Accessible Parking
Patrons that require accessible parking should use the west entrance, Gate 1, located at Military Avenue and North Antelope Valley Roadway. The accessible parking is located adjacent to the Devaney Sports Center in the following locations:
- Lot 52 (south of Devaney Sports Center)
- Ollis Avenue (East of Devaney Sports Center)
- Lot 58 (north of Devaney Sports Center)
Athletic Donor Parking
Donor and season ticket holders with parking permits for parking lots 51 to 59 enter through the Nebraska Innovation Campus west entrance located at Military Avenue and North Antelope Valley Parkway.
The special donor parking permit must be visible to the parking attendants as the vehicle approaches the lot.
Public Parking
Public parking is operated for a fee by the City of Lincoln at the east entrance to the Nebraska Innovation Campus, Gate 4 and at public parking entrances day of the game. Access to public parking in the Midway and north of Lot 55 is through the east entrance, Gate 4, located on the Salt Creek Roadway near 27th Street.

UNL Parking Permit Holder Parking
For Husker Volleyball Games, faculty, staff and student parking permit holders may park in the Public Parking area with the Permit Event Sticker displayed on the vehicle.
