Visitors to the UNL downtown campus may park at available parking garages. Access rules are in place for each garage and users must pay only by credit card upon exit.

Hourly Parking Garage User Guide
General Guidelines
- If the entrance gates are up, no hourly visitor parking is allowed and only permit users may park in the garage at that time
- Admission to the garages includes an access ticket. Instructions for the access system are posted at entrance and exit gates
- Parking rates for the garage are $1.50 for each hour and $10.00 daily maximum. A new day begins at 12:00 a.m. midnight. Credit/debit card (MasterCard, Visa or Discover) is the only accepted payment
- Hourly parking is not available at these garages on home football days
- Parking garage facilities are video monitored
On Enter
- Press kiosk button to take a ticket.
- Penalty for a missing ticket is $30.
- Gate will lift upon successful transaction.
- For assistance, PRESS and HOLD the button with the phone icon until it rings.
On Exit
- On exit, scan the bar code on the ticket. Do not scan the QR code.
- After payment is calculated, pay by inserting your credit/debit card in the card slot.
- Follow on-screen instructions.
- Press the receipt button if desired.
- For assistance, PRESS and Hold the button with the phone icon until it rings.
- To avoid delays when leaving the garage, have your payment complete in advance. When you return to your vehicle, scan the QR code on the ticket (the rectangle box with markings in it) with your cell phone.
Use your personal payment option (credit or debit card) to pay the ticket amount while you are still parked.
This step allows you to avoid scanning the barcode then paying with your card at the exit reader.
When you exit, the system will scan your license, coordinate with your paid access ticket, and allow exit of the garage gates.
